Evenings of reflection for men
Evenings of reflection provide an opportunity to develop the quality of our Christian life and our relationship with Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. They also offer practical suggestions on how to find God in everyday work, family life and in interactions with other people. Find out more (PDF)

The Anchor Youth Centre will be hosting three public information sessions for parents of teenagers on the following issues that are having a direct influence on young people’s upbringing and behaviour.
The presentation will be given by an expert on the topic, but there will also be contributions from specific teenagers who are experts on the matter. Further information from Luison at 086-0853096. All Welcome!
VIDEO GAMES & CONSOLES – Wed 18 th April @ 8pm
Video-games are consuming hours of the lives of young people, but they are also having a direct effect on their behaviour and their upbringing. This talk will explore what sort of games teenagers are playing and what could parents do to protect their children from the impact games might have on their development.
TV SOAPS & COMEDY SHOWS- Wed 16 th May @ 8pm
One of the strongest influences on a young person’s development is what they watch on TV. Concerned parents need to be aware of this and see how they can counteract any negative influences chat-shows, reality-TV, soaps and comedy can have on the education of their children.
